The stylish charcoal Infinity Total Solutions 5.1 channel surround sound speaker systems look nice, and sound even better.

Each of the four magnetically-shielded two-way front left, front right, and rear surround satellite speakers on the entry-level Infinity TSS-500CHR 5.1 surround sound speaker system features a ¾ inch tweeter with acoustical waveguide to provide the treble, and a 2½ inch driver supplies the midrange. The voice-matched center channel speaker utilizes the same ¾ inch tweeter, but doubles up on the 2½ inch drivers. The Infinity TSS-500 package includes adjustable-mount wall brackets for the four satellites and center channel speaker. Lastly, all the low frequency bass effects are handled by the 8-inch 100 watt powered subwoofer.

The step-up Infinity TSS-800CHR package utilizes a ¾ inch MMD (Metal Matrix Diaphragm) tweeter for the highs, a larger 3½ inch MMD driver for midrange, and a larger 10-inch MMD 150 watt subwoofer for the bass.

The top-of-the-line Infinity TSS-1200CHR system uses the same ¾ inch MMD tweeter as the TSS-800, but has dual 3½ inch MMD drivers for midrange, and an even larger 12-inch MMD 250 watt subwoofer.

If you want to set up 7.1 surround sound, you will need to purchase two more matching TSS-SAT speakers, packaged and sold individually.
