If you are going through the trouble and expense of installing speakers inside the walls of your retrofit home theater room, you want to be sure that it both looks nice, and that the resulting surround sound blends together as seamlessly as possible. The best way to do that is to purchase and install voice-matched speakers from the same manufacturer and series for each of the front left, center, and front right channels, as well as each of the side/rear/back located surround effects channels, and even the subwoofer(s).

Packaged and sold individually, the AIM Cinema One pictured to the top right is SpeakerCraft's most affordable 5-driver in-wall home theater speaker. These would be perfect for the front left, center channel, and front right speakers, so you will need to buy three.

The selectable bipole/dipole AIM Cinema Dipole One pictured bottom right features the voice-matched drivers that are placed 50 degrees off-axis from each other, making them the ideal side/rear/back surround effects speakers, so you will need to purchase two of these if you are setting up 5.1 surround, or four if 7.1 channel surround.

Last, but not least, the Cinema Sub 10 System package pictured bottom left includes a Cinema Sub 10 inch subwoofer, AccuTune Box 10 enclosure, and Bass Power 250 sub amplifier to handle the .1 low frequency effects.
