5.1.2 Speaker System + Home Theater Receiver
A 5.1.2 home theater system INCLUDES two floor standing speakers or a pair of smaller bookshelf speakers that function as the front left and right speakers, two upward-firing Dolby Atmos/DTS:X elevation/height effects speakers EITHER built-into OR as separate modules which are placed on top of the two front speakers (or a pair of speakers mounted in the ceiling), a center channel speaker for dialogue, two rear speakers for surround sound effects, and a subwoofer for the low frequency bass, plus a compatible surround sound receiver.
