5.1.4 Speaker System + Home Theater Receiver
A 5.1.4 home theater system INCLUDES two floor standing speakers or a pair of smaller bookshelf speakers that function as the front left and right speakers, a center channel speaker for dialogue, two rear speakers for surround sound effects, four upward-firing Dolby Atmos/DTS:X elevation/height speakers EITHER built-into the tops of both front and rear speakers OR as separate modules which are placed on top of front and rear speakers (or two pairs of speakers mounted in the ceiling), and a subwoofer for the low frequency bass, plus a compatible surround sound receiver.
