5.2.2 Speaker System and Home Theater Receiver Bundles

A 5.2.2 speaker home theater bundle INCLUDES front left and right main speakers which should be located at or near each side of your television or projection screen; two elevation/height speakers for Dolby Atmos/DTS:X vertical effects either built into the top of, or as separate modules sitting atop, each front speaker angled upwards reflecting sound off the ceiling, or a pair of in-ceiling speakers angled downwards; a center channel speaker primarily for dialogue clarity which should be centered below your TV or projection screen; left and right rear surround speakers for off-screen/background effects which should be located near each side of, or slightly behind, your prime seating area, preferably slightly above ear level; two powered subwoofers to provide the lowest frequency bass effects, which typically sound best located near corners of the room; and a 7.2-channel or more home theater receiver. Speaker wire, subwoofer cables, and HDMI cables are sold separately.
