3.1 Speaker System + Home Theater Receiver
A 3.1 home theater system INCLUDES two floor standing tower speakers or a pair of smaller bookshelf speakers to function as the front left and right speakers, a center channel speaker for the dialogue, and a subwoofer for the low frequency bass, plus a surround sound receiver.
IT DOES NOT INCLUDE rear speakers for the surround sound effects.
